exactly once the clock struck 12am, 30th July 2005, sms and calls pouring in wishing me a HAPPY BIRTHDAY! ok ok, i've turn 24 tis year!! makes me feel so much older, but nvm tink of the bright side...im so MATURE! hehehe...
ok...so wat its my birthday, i still gotta go to work!! sigh...working from 1pm to 10pm. tat pathetic long hours...making me feel sien wanna go work, but nvm, as long as got $$. hehehehe...
wen im about to get ready for work, my sister told me there's a letter for me. so i took the letter, its actually a card and wondering who can it be?? so i unsealed it and to my surprise (its really a surprise) its a birthday card from Aldrin! i have no idea where he got my house address...and i was shock tat he will actually post to me...the content of the card is quite long so i just quickly read it and put it aside cos im late for work...
went to work, do my stuff etc. numbers of customers strolling into my working place wic makes the place even more sempit. wen i was putting price tags on the malay novels book, i notice from my side view two guys walking towards me. must be enquiring sumthing from me, but i just continue my work let them finish their questions first.
so the first guy came and ask me in Mandarin, but i wasnt looking at him cos concentrating my work. he ask "Xiao Jie, do u sell condom here?". in my heart i was like WAT!? CONDOM!? did i hear wrong o wat?? i nv even bother to look at him but to continue doin my work while asking "what did u just asked?". once i finish my question, i tilt up my head to the pervert customer with my disgusted look. and to my shock, its was my juniors tat pulling my legs!! edeot!! main kaciao sama i. so i give them one huge *PIAK* at their arms and they say "pain ler". tai sei
wen i was working too, few ppl sms n call me jus to wish me. so sweet of them.. Aldrin call me too. at 1st i was hesitate to pick up his call, den i told myself just a very very short conversation will be fine.
there's a call too from anonymous number while i was working, so i pick up and its a guy mumbling dono wat. i tot he was toking to me in Malay as if asking for sumbody so i answer him back "Sapa tuh?". den i heard him laugh and say to me in Mandarin " i ask isit ur birthday, why u ask me bek Sapa Tuh?". i was like "hehehehe....errrmm, who's on d line anyway?". den oni i find out its Xing Wei. he call to wish me too...

sayang came over and pick me up after work and he brought me to Amigo Restaurant. i order Mushroom Chicken Chop with Apple Juice while he order Sizzling Chicken Chop with Watermelon Juice. i bump into Lai Ching with her bf too.
after makan, i went home. as usual nv miss my shower. once im done with my shower, i wanna dry my hair. so as i was about to begin my session of hair drying, suddenly i heard my sisters and my mum singing Happy Birthday song to me. Amy was holding the cake. i was so really SURPRISE. i keep on aaaahh, eeekk, wat r u guys doing, im drying my hair!! too happy. too happy till i cant blow off my candles tat i have to use hair dryer to blow it off!!!!! lolz. whoah, full of surprises man tis year.
to be frank, its my very first birthday cake i had with my family, for 24 years! i was so happy till my happy tears nearly flow down but i ego skit control. eversince im small, we only had plain rice with soy sauce. we were extremely BROKE at tat time. tats y there's no cake for me wen im small. now my elder sister and my mum working too, i wouldnt say im living richly now. its just tat, we 'boleh tahan' now. moreover, im doing part time job, and i didnt ask money from my mum or my sister instead. i save all my money and use it wen i really need to use too. so, its like 'boleh tahan' mia living. told myself must get a job ASAP. donot care how much the salary but as long as i can help my mum and my elder sister to lighten up their burden.
my sister got me a Tiramisu cake!!! taste damn delicious!! i tried few small slices of Tiramisu cake at few restaurant and it doesnt taste so nice. but tis is SUPERB!!! thx a lot to my family!!
