i'll be home for raya...

for the past few days b4 i left for Mlk, the KL area was so 'blur' due to heavy haze.

but today itself, i can see beautiful blue sky and clear buildings. the haze is gone!! wonderful...

so anyway, Selamat Hari Raya too all Muslims!

sayang actually invited benny, sharon, xiao jun n hoon leong for lunch on the 1st day or Raya. yeah, like i mentioned b4 in one of my blog entries, sayang's family celebrate every festive season. CNY, Xmas, Deepavali and Raya wif lotsa food.

so tis year, as usual his mum cooked ketupat, lemang, fried chicken wings,rendang ayam and how cud we miss out his mum speciality sambal udang! ahh...toking bout his mum's sambal udang, im feeling hungry ady....i wan sambal udang!!!

it's Sharon's 1st time trying sayang's mum cooking. and she was stunt and got hooked up wif the delicious food! she was praising sayang's mum cooking and say no wonder i always miss her cooking especially the sambal udang. she even interviewed his parents asking how they cook the fried chicken wings till so crispy...lol...

meanwhile as for benny and xiao jun, both of them were sick at tat time. fever + sore throat etc. but wen we told them bout sambal udang, they totally ignore their sickness. benny even told sayang's mum tat he's sick but he still wanna eat her sambal udang! hehehehe....

hoon leong was taking his own sweet time to reach sayang's place. but wen he noes benny around, he quikly speed up. u guys must be saying he cant wait to see benny huh.. but the thruth is, he says tat he's afraid by the time he reach sayang's place, he's afraid benny will wallop all the sambal udang.

alamak, i start missing the sambal udang ady la... and oso tomyam steamboat, kari fish... etc etc...

after 5 days of siok holiday-ing, suddenly don have the mood to work..

traffic for tis morning was so damn superb smooth. no jam at all! of cos la...everybody still holiday-ing....

how i wish i can extend my leave sial... zzzzzzz...i wanna go bek Malacca!!!

im back!

happy deepavali!! babu asked me to drop by his house ystday....but i was way too busy tat i do not have the time to visit him... sorry babu..

anyway, i met 2 of my bestfrens ystday. met them up at 4pm den we head over to MP to get our stuff. time flies so fast tat we realised its actually dinner time ady. so we decided to go jonker walk and hunt for food.

b4 tat we drop by at one shop at Mlk Raya whereby they sell lotsa local kuih etc. i bought 3 sambal tau sa piah and one normal taste tau sa piah wic cost me RM47.50. one for my sayang's family, 1 for my own family, 1 for Sharon and 2 more for my colleagues.

sharon suggest to eat laksa at one of the stalls there. the laksa was so damn superb! even till now i still remember how the taste.... try Nyonya Asam Laksa and u sure will feel like eating it again! never bruff u!

as usual, jonker street on saturday will be pack. i bought lotsa local kuih for my colleagues..7 packets of pineapple tarts wif the total damage of RM66. i once gave few pieces of pineapple tarts to my colleagues and the're dying for these tarts now! u guys must be wondering, 7 packets man, tats so crazy!! well, i tink its worth it bcoz my colleagues do used to buy stuff for me...sum will auto tapau breakfast and lunch for me without accepting my money. sum tat went for holidays will get souvenier and food for me... those tat went bek hometown will get their local food for me... mana-ler tak gemuk i ni? one of my very very closest coulleague will bring homemade soup for me during lunch time...wenever she pass me the soup she will say "Dont tell anyone i got tis for u ah...i oni give u alone oni ". so thoughtfull. besides soup, she will get for me 'tong sui' as well.

so ... anyway.. after our dinner at Jonker Street, we decided to eat 'tong sui' at one new stall at Kota Laksamana. i ordered buburchacha. wah lau eh..i tell u, the buburchacha damn nice sial~! onz~!

everyone of us got tired ady and it was 11pm ++ ady. we were telling ourselves tat time flies so fast..eventhough we met up at 4pm and yet its not enuf for us! so we say in future we shall go out earlier!!! hahahaha...

so, i was watching tis Msia reality show; Cornetto Love Perhaps. tats my very 1st time i watch this show eventhough its like many episodes away.

while i was watching at those cute guys, there's one familiar face which strike my mind on d spot.

"hei, i tink tis guy is from Mlk la". all d while wen there's tis Cornetto Love Perhaps advertisement on TV, i did notice tis guy, but i didnt tot he's from Mlk.

so, to find out more whether he's a Malaccan anot, i went thru the net to see whether im correct anot. and it turn out to be true.

besides him, there's another contestant wic is oso from Mlk .. wic i saw him at Mlk b4 as well.

so..today is 18th October 2006, wic means its Wednesday lor...

and in 2 more days, im going bek MELAKA!!!

and im gonna have a long holiday for myself...5 days.!! weeee~!!!

4 Good News

Good news, good news....

first of all, i was told i have to meet up with my big boss, manager and senior for my appraisal on Tuesday. i was so nervous before that , that i feel so nausea. bad instinct told me i might get a good long lecture from my big boss and start asking me questions. who noes she might say "Im sorry Tricia, but i have to extend your probation period!".

owwwh, i was such a pain in the ass !! the more i tink, the more nervous i feel. i cant concentrate fully on my work. moreover, the previous admin wic left after i join 2 weeks, boss didn't confirm her but extend her probation for 1 year!! 1 year man! can u imagine the pain!

den my senior called me and ask me to stop my work cos big boss looking for me.

so....i got myself ready. walk to big boss and sit in front of her together with my senior and manager.

"so Samuel" , big boss talking to my manager, "pls run thru her job task, let me know her job performance".

wah sei, more kanciong sial. i feel like fainting on d spot !!

so my manager start talking bout me saying im good etc etc. hehehehe....but but, there's one thing tat he comment on me to my big boss "Dont see her like quiet quiet, she actually very noisy wan".

big boss look at me and give me a smile saying "you don't go nosey around ah".

Me; "orh".

so after few minutes talking bout my work etc, finally big boss came with a decision "ok la, i confirm u".

tats my 1st good news.

den my senior told me tat boss incrementing my salary another RM200!!! yipee~! another gud news!!!

den i was told Malacca opening Standard Chartered soon. i told myself, mayb i cud transfer bek to Malacca n work!! tats the 3rd good news...well, i shall see how la, who noes i might not be long here and hop into another company etc...we shall see how...

and den, there were this not-yet-confirm declaration of public holiday on 23 October 2006 by Badawi. den the next day, the newspaper came out saying there's no public holiday unless their respective company declare its a public holiday. so, after few days, wic is today, we received mail saying that "Declaration of Bank Holiday - 23 October 2006"!! aha! tats the 4th good news...

Penang and Langkawi

there's so many things i wanna update on my Penang and Langkawi trip, but i dono where to start!! im so so so BLUR!

yeah yeah, as usual im the blur gal whereby i have no sense of direction and can't make a good decision. sayang always calls me Lost Pony or Confuse Pony =__=

i tink i'll make tis entry a short wan lah. steady?

ok lor, since Bang-cock doesnt welcome us, so we finally decided to head over to Penang and Langkawi instead lor.

there's no proper arrangement been done also. oni verbally conversation on d fon and plan to meet at KL 1st. we din book any hotel at Penang, but we did book a hotel at Langkawi.

since Benny recently tie a knot to a new 'gurl', Benny suggest to bring his new-second-wife along. so we met up at Uptown around 5++ pm.

left KL asap and head over to Penang.

reach Penang roughly 10++ and settle down at one food court to have a nice dinner.

he pause a while den continue "easy, treat tis like a baby hand!".

after dinner, we drop by at Gurney Drive to take a short stroll.

we were enjoying the cool breeze and chatting all the way when we realised its 2++ am and we haven't even book a hotel.

so, again, we start our journey to hunt for a hotel. manage to get a reasonble hotel since we oni need to sleep for like 4hours and leave the next day to Langkawi.

before we left for Langkawi, Benny did ask around wat other nice places tat we can drop by at Penang. we were told to visit Kek Lok Si Temple and Bukit Bendera.

so after our heavy breakfast, we continue our plan and head over to Bukit Bendera 1st. it was raining tat day. bad bad day. but mother nature did bless us, wen we reach Bukit Bendera, the rain stopped.

since we wanna catch the earliest Ferry to Langkawi asap, we left Kek Lok Si and headed north to Langkawi.

manage to get a 630pm Ferry tiket and here we are!!

the 1st thing we need to do now is to rent a car. and we got ourselves a Hyundai Accent car for RM50...3days 2night.

drive to our hotel, settle ourselves and hunt for dinner.
